Connecticut police are asking the public for assistance in finding a missing Vernon mother and her two small children.
According to the Hartford Courant, 36-year-old Anjaknie Roundtree and her children Tykeese, 4, and Chloe Palmer, 2, were last seen on Tuesday in Vernon, in the Grove Street area. Roundtree was reportedly looking for a ride to a hotel in Manchester.
Roundtree doesn’t have transportation and was seen leaving the area on foot with her children, who may be in a double stroller. Police reportedly said Roundtree had previously gone to Virginia to find a job.
Silver Alerts have been issued for the children. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Vernon Police Department at 860-872-9126.
