Friday morning will bring yet another morning of Dense Fog Advisories across Southwest Florida, but this time to every county. Look for visibility dropping below a quarter of a mile at times for the morning commute.
The fog should lift by 10 a.m., leaving us with a mix of sun and clouds. Friday will be warm, with highs running 6 to 8 degrees above average as temperatures warm back into the mid-80s.
One difference we’ll see on Friday afternoon is a chance for some isolated rain! Look for a few showers first developing inland around 5 p.m., which should then drift westward closer to I-75 and the coast from 6 to 9 p.m. If you’re outdoors for any holiday festivities, you may run into a quick passing shower or two.
The warm weather sticks around through Saturday and Sunday, with highs topping off in the mid-80s each afternoon. Forecast models aren’t showing as much fog for Saturday morning, with just some patchy spots looking possible. Sunday morning appears to be the morning featuring more widespread fog for the weekend ahead of a very weak cold front set to move through Sunday afternoon.
