It should be a pleasant Friday afternoon across the area as highs return to the upper 70s and lower 80s under a partly cloudy sky. There may be a chance for a few isolated showers in our southern interior regions later this afternoon as our next cold front moves into SWFL.
We currently have a level 1 threat for severe weather for the eastern parts of Collier County and Hendry County, but the majority of Southwest Florida is now out of that severe risk for today.
A chance for more shower activity continues into Saturday for the start of the weekend.
By Sunday we’ll be dry and cooler, with highs only set to top off in the 60s.
By Monday morning, lows will be back into the 40s as cold air settles back in.
